Kelly and Jerry, we're so sorry to hear of Georgia's passing. As your next door neighbor on Fridley Drive back in the 60's and early '70's, we remember such a happy and friendly lady who was quick to smile and help. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Georgia was indeed a very special lady, and she loved her stamping! I feel very blessed that she chose me to be her friend. As a friend she was a rare find and I shall miss her terribly! I admired her pluck. I loved her sense of humor and lovely smile. I cannot imagine the loss you feel. I pray that God will fill your hearts with all the wonderful memories to bring you joy in your sorrow.

I have such wonderful memories of Georgia. Of she and her mom, Marie, coming to Minnesota to our family reunion. Also, of the family reunions we attended in Iowa. She made us feel welcome among many people that we barely knew. Our sympathy to you Jerry and Kelly.

Mrs. Gitch was able to touch the lives of many, myself included. She allowed me to volunteer in her classroom while I was in high school and inspired me to earn my own teaching degree. She had such a warm personality and sweet spirit about her. May warm memories comfort each of you during this time!

My sympathies to you. I just wanted to tell you that though I haven’t seen Mrs. Gitch in many many years, she must have impacted my life in some way because I have thought of her many times. I always think of how kind she was to me in first grade at Tripoli. I always remember her beautiful smile and soft caring heart. I was just telling my son about her today, two hours before I learned of her passing. THANKYOU Mrs. Gitch for all the young people’s lives you made a difference in. May you Rest In Peace. ??
